Freelance IT Recruiter - virtual position

Location: United States

Stem Match continues to grow!  We are working with companies in the STEM industries who have a need for technical people to join their companies either direct or in contract roles.

Our customers are located around the country so physical proximity is not an issue.  We are a virtual company and are happy to work with you where ever you live.

Develops and delivers innovative recruiting support to align with client business objectives. Provides oversight and direction in the execution of recruiting strategies established by the Director of Recruiting & Staffing and/or Recruiting Managers. Works with recruiting team members to ensure expert delivery of recruitment services to clients and candidates.

1. Recruits for direct placement and contract positions for technical and professional candidates. Manages a requisition load of approximately 20 – 30 open requisitions, based on need.

2. Provides full service recruiting including: matching candidates to job profiles; thorough screening of candidates; recommendations for hire through telephone and in-person interviews; comprehensive compensation analysis and salary recommendations. Extends Offers of Employment on behalf of the organization.

3. Utilizes direct sourcing methods to identify candidates (including passive candidates) to develop a substantive pool of qualified and diverse applicants for each position. Contacts and maintains wide networks for generating applicant referrals.

4.  Works well with the team.

Requirements

  • Requires 3-5 years of recruiting or staffing experience to include sourcing, networking, qualifying candidates, telephone screening, interviewing.



  • Must have demonstrated working technical knowledge of recruiting techniques, including standard and non-standard recruiting methods, internet mining, direct sourcing and networking with referrals for leads.



  • Demonstrated success recruiting for  technical positions is required. Must have the ability to handle a high volume of work in a process-oriented environment.



  • Demonstrated Web Research and Computer experience
